This month, Deb Hunter, our CEO and Principal Physiotherapist, will be taking a break from the cold of New England to go trekking. As part of planning for her trip, she has taken extensive preparations to ensure she remains injury-free during her time away. So we thought this would be a great opportunity to share some of her tips for travelling.

However, it’s important not to let a fear of injury be a barrier to participating in the activities you enjoy. There are a few important things you need to consider before tripping off on your holiday. Sitting in a confined space for a prolonged period of time may cause some unwelcome issues by the time you reach your destination. Whether you are travelling on an aeroplane or at the wheel of a car, if you expect you will be experiencing extended periods of sitting, you can take some precautions.
