After careful consideration and preparation, and in the interest of public health, our team has decided to move to 100% telehealth consults.

A telehealth consult is delivered online with video. We assess you in much the same way that we do in a face to face consult. We ask you a series of questions so we can gain a better understanding of the problem you have and then ask you to do a set of movements or tests we can see online.

Your physiotherapist will then be able to establish a probable diagnosis and provide you with a set of self -management strategies including an individual exercise program. You are given access to an app with videos to assist you to partner with us in your treatment.

In terms of rebates, Workers Compensation clients will be rebated as normal, DVA clients will be bulk billed while clients with Chronic Disease Management Plans will receive a medicare rebate. And as of 14 April, all telehealth clients will receive a medicare rebate. Telehealth consults are charged at a flat fee of $69 for 30 minutes.

Move Better for Life paused our face to face Wellness Classes from Monday 23rd March onwards to assist in the containment of COVID-19 and reduce the risk of client and staff exposure.

We are in the process of modifying our group classes to offer online exercise options.
