We conduct Pre Employment Assessments on behalf of employment agencies in order to determine the appropriate level of fitness for the employment candidate and the position they are being considered for.

Specifically we undertake a musculoskeletal assessment reviewing, strength, lifting capacity and technique.

We have an interest in Workplace Assessment and Rehabilitation, offering two popular injury prevention services for the office: Individual workstation ergonomic assessment and group training – workstation health and safety.

  • Pre-Employment Assessment

    Move Better for Life is experienced at conducting pre-employment assessments designed to screen an individual’s ability to perform the physical demands of a job they are being considered for.

    Effective screening may reduce workplace injuries and prevent productivity losses.

    Our assessments screen the ability for an individual to perform the physical demands of their job; ultimately reducing workplace injuries and lost time. Strength assessments are included to ensure the individual has the physical capability to work.

  • Workplace Assessment

    We are fortunate enough to have  secured the services of Liz Maertin, a physiotherapist with more than 15 years’ experience in Workplace Rehabilitation.

    Individual Workstation (Ergonomic) Assessment

    Our 30 minute on-site service includes:

    • Thorough assessment of the work-station;
    • Making changes to the work station set up as required; and
    • Providing recommendations for safe work practices.

    Group Training – Workstation Health and Safety

    This service, for small or large groups, includes: a training, and education session about workstation ergonomics and injury prevention; the opportunity for staff to adjust their own workstation; and brief, individual workstation check-ups.
