Move Better for Life is a private physiotherapy practice with a proven 20 year history of providing expert treatment of muscle and joint pain and stiffness, and injury management.

We treat your pain and dysfunction with a comprehensive range of best practice physiotherapy treatments. We partner with you through the treatment process and focus on developing self-management techniques that reflect your lifestyle, so you can move better for life.

NDIS

Physiotherapy, exercise physiology and occupational therapy services are available under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). If your NDIS plan is self-managed or plan-managed you can choose any qualified occupational therapist you wish to provide your services including Move Better for Life.

Physiotherapy

Our physiotherapists are able to assess and provide ongoing treatment for people with: joint and muscle pain and stiffness; muscle and joint injuries; falls and balance problems; generalised muscle weakness and deconditioning following an illness; post-operative recovery; chest and lung problems; and walking and mobility difficulties. And our professional Sports Rehabilitation services are designed to get you safely back in the game as soon as possible.

Exercise Physiology

Our exercise physiologist enables our clients to live their best lives through holistic individualised exercise and health programs. They assist people through exercise to improve their physical wellbeing, as well as assist in rehabilitation from injury or with medical conditions such as obesity, arthritis, diabetes, cancer, osteoporosis, depression, asthma and cardiovascular diseases, as well as many other chronic diseases.

Remedial Massage

Small clinical trials over 3 weeks duration have demonstrated that trigger point massage patients had significant decrease in muscle pain and tension and anxiety compared to compared to traditional ultrasound and heatpacks.

Wellness Classes

Our wellness classes include Balanced Bods, Body Reform, Better Balance, Back 2 Backs and Hipsters.   Our classes are small allowing each participant individual attention. Classes are run by a qualified facilitator. Private health fund rebates are available for all our classes.
